Comedian switches to pro fighter
Comedian Yoon Hyung-bin, who garnered popularity on the KBS entertainment program “Gag Concert,” announced that he will soon make his debut as a professional fighter of mixed martial arts.During a press conference yesterday at the Grand Hilton Hotel in Hongeun-dong, northwestern Seoul, Yoon said he feels confident in his new career choice.
“I have always had an interest in ultimate fighting,” he said. “The process of creating the fighting game is cool, and many men have had some sort of desire for it.”
The comedian said he debated the opportunity and finally decided to take on the challenge as it is something he has wanted to do for his entire life.
Yoon will donate the money he makes from his debut match to the “No Violence” campaign directed at young students.
