Fans buy food for TV drama
Fans of the actor Jang Geun-suk bought a meal for 100 people working on the crew of Jang’s latest TV drama.Filming on the series “Beautiful Man” has been taking place on a set that is far away from any restaurants. When fans heard about the situation, they ordered 100 portions of pork barbecue for the cast and crew.
The drama production company has released a photo of Jang, who plays the lead role in the series, holding a piece of pork and smiling yesterday to thank Jang’s fans for the kind gesture.
The drama, which also features singer IU as a lead character, will begin airing on Nov. 20.
While Jang plays a man who is popular because of his good looks, IU plays a very ordinary girl who has long had feelings for Jang’s character.
