High demand in Japan for Jae-joong

Singer Kim Jae-joong of the boy group JYJ has confirmed that he is going to hold another round of concerts in Osaka next month.

The singer is currently on a tour of Asia and performed in Yokohama, Japan, last week. He reportedly performed two sold-out shows to around 60,000 people, proving that demand in Japan is high for the singer.

Following concerts in Taiwan and China, Kim will return to Japan for additional shows on Dec. 17 and 18, performing for some 20,000 fans.

“The concert in Yokohama has confirmed that Kim has the potential to succeed as a solo singer and gives more power to the artist as he starts on the Asia tour,” said an official at Kim’s agency, according to local media.

Kim has been actively promoting his first full-length solo album, “WWW,” which was released last month, topping music charts in several countries around Asia.
