Busker Busker singer to wed
He wrote on his fan cafe yesterday that he has pushed back plans to begin his mandatory military service in order to marry his girlfriend of two years early in 2014. He said his girlfriend, actress Song Ji-su, is pregnant and will have a baby next year.
Jang also said that he is going on hiatus from Busker Busker, as all three members need a break after their second album and the group’s spectacular successes.
“We are going to stop performing as members of the band Busker Busker and will try to do things that we originally wanted to do at this moment,” wrote Jang.
Jang said he will establish a company named Busker Busker to encourage other street performers, since that’s how his band got its start. Guitarist Kim Hyung-tae will focus on design, which is what he was studying before joining the group, and American drummer Brad Moore will focus on media appearances.
