SM Entertainment ends year singing

Singers at leading K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment have been ending 2013 with a series of major concerts.

The boy group Exo and girl group f(x) collaborated on Tuesday and Wednesday with their “Christmas Wonderland” concerts.

F(x) took to the stage wearing Christmas-themed outfits and sung carols, along with songs from its previous albums, including “Nu ABO,” “Airplane” and “Rum Pum Pum Pum.”

While f(x) brought out the cuteness, Exo presented a more charismatic style with its performances of hits like “Growl” and “Wolf.”

The group also performed its own version of “Happiness” and “Candy,” two of the major hits from formative idol group H.O.T, which were popular in the 1990s.

Both groups shared their excitement about seeing their fans over the holiday season.

“It is the miracle of December that we are here with fans right at this moment,” said Exo, while f(x) said it was meaningful to have a concert over Christmas.

Other groups affiliated with SM Entertainment will also have concerts this week, such as TVXQ, who will perform today, and Super Junior, who will perform on Saturday and Sunday.
