Park Shin-hye to play royalty in tailors’ tale

Actress Park Shin-hye yesterday confirmed her role in a new movie, tentatively named “Tailor’s Office,” according to local media reports.

In the period film, she will be working with actor Han Suk-kyu, of 1999 film “Shiri” and most recently of “The Berlin File,” and actor Go Soo of 2011 film “The Front Line.”

Park will be playing a queen in the film, who gets into trouble by wearing a garment made by the talented tailor Gong Jin, played by Go Soo.

“As the script was interesting because it centers on stories of garments made in the Joseon era, we have decided this film is for Park,” said the actress’s agency, S.A.L.T Entertainment.

“Through the new movie, Park will be able to show a more mature side.”

Filming for the movie will start in February.
