The local distributor of the movie “The Attorney” has confirmed that audiences in the United States will also get to see the film.
The movie, which has reached eight million admissions so far, will first hit overseas movie screens on Feb. 7 in Los Angeles and then go on to 15 other cities in the United States.
“We have tried to have audiences in the United States watch the movie because we think the movie delivers some common ideas,” said the movie distributor NEW.
The movie is inspired by the late President Roh Moo-hyun and his work as a human rights lawyer. Actor Song Kang-ho plays Roh as a tax lawyer in Busan in the 1980s.
