Rumors swirl about new Psy release
Local media is reporting that Psy could be ready to return as early as next month and that he is currently filming new music videos for the imminent release.Considering the industry norm that singers work on their music videos only when a new release is close, many expect that Psy is set to make a comeback.
Reports also say that Psy is working on several music videos at the same time, similar to what Beyonce did for her new album, giving him a variety of choices for songs to promote.
With Psy’s “Gangnam Style” topping 1.8 billion YouTube views and “Gentleman” topping 620 million, expectations are high for his new music.
A tweet Psy wrote mentioning the rapper Snoop Dogg has the media wondering if the famous hip-hop star might feature in one of Psy’s new videos.
However, so far Psy and his agency YG Entertainment are keeping quiet about any possible comeback.
