Boy band B.A.P’s first full-length album, “First Sensibility,” ranked on the Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums Chart on iTunes in nine countries worldwide, according to local media yesterday.
The album, which was released on Tuesday, hit the No. 1 spot in Japan, Canada, Norway and Sweden and was No. 2 in the United States and the United Kingdom as of yesterday.
Big names in hip-hop such as Kanye West, Flo Rida and Kendrick Lamar were the five-member group’s competitors in the chart.
The album’s lead-off single “1004 (Angel)” features a somewhat different style than the group’s previous powerful songs. The song is comprised of acoustic sounds and the lyrics of post-break up sentiments.
The group will hold a concert in Seoul titled “B.A.P. Live On Earth Seoul 2014,” from March. 8 to 9.
