With rumors churning about Psy’s imminent comeback in Korea, it looks like CL, leader of the girl group 2NE1, could be his third muse, following Hyun-A of 4Minute and Ga-in of Brown Eyed Girls.
Music insiders yesterday reported that CL visited the set of Psy’s latest music video when it was shooting in Incheon in January, where she was spontaneously cast alongside world-famous hip-hop star Snoop Dogg.
“G-Dragon and CL visited Psy to cheer on him while filming the music video and CL was cast in the music video,” said the insider.
CL, Psy and G-Dragon are all signed to YG Entertainment.
CL’s appearance calls to mind the women who appeared in Psy’s last two videos - Hyun-A in “Gangnam Style” and Ga-in in “Gentleman” - both of whom gained international attention for their performances.
CL, whose real name is Lee Chae-rin, also recently turned up on a new song by DJ Skrillex, rapping with G-Dragon and the agency’s main producer, Teddy.
