Jessica denies dating rumors

After Girls’ Generation’s appearance on MBC’s late night show “Radio Star” on Wednesday, multiple local media sources reported the next day that she has been in a relationship with a Korean-American businessman for a while.
Jessica’s apparent boyfriend is the CEO of an entertainment company in the United States. He has also served as the chairman of Seoulcialite Group, which specializes in holding high-profile and exclusive events within the Korean entertainment scene.
Reports of Jessica dating have sparked the attention of her group’s loyal fans, who were recently shocked by paparazzi dating photos of Yoon-a and Soo-young in the beginning of the year.
“Although it’s true that Jessica and Mr. Kwon are good friends, that does not mean they are in an exclusive relationship,” said the girls’ agency, SM Entertainment, through a press release on Thursday.
Jessica, whose real name is Jung Soo-yeon, was also rumored to be dating Ok Taec-yeon of K-pop group 2PM in 2011. After being spotted at a coffee shop in Tokyo together, their agencies responded to the chatter by saying that they are only “good friends.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation’s new song, “Mr. Mr.,” passed 10 million views on YouTube on Wednesday.
