Yang Hyun-suk, the head of YG Entertainment, announced yesterday that Tae-yang, of the boy band Big Bang, will make his return on June 2. Yang posted well wishes yesterday in honor of the 26-year-old singer’s recent birthday on YG’s official blog, www.yg-life.com, and unveiled teasers for Tae-yang’s new album.

One included a photograph of Tae-yang sporting a newly-dyed silver hairstyle, along with his comeback date. Another featured an image resembling the sun with “Rise Tae-yang” written in the center.

The singer is returning to the Korean music scene for the first time in seven months.
