Supermodel Zhang Liang makes cameo appearance in ‘Doctor Stranger’
Chinese supermodel Zhang Liang, who also goes by Sean Zhang, appeared in the SBS drama series “Doctor Stranger.”Zhang made a cameo appearance as a friend of elite surgeon Han Jae-joon, played by Korean Wave icon actor Park Hae-jin.
Park, who is immensely popular in mainland China after starring in “My Love From the Star” (2013-4), acted the lines in Chinese with Zhang.
SBS noted that Park tried to facilitate the communication between the Chinese model and the production team led Jin Hyuk.
Zhang Liang rose to fame in China by joining five fathers in the Chinese version of the MBC reality show “Dad, Where are You Going?” After the show started airing, local fans sent him strong support for being “a good papa.”
Dubbed as the No. 1 supermodel of China, he aims to expand his career in the Asia-Pacific region in the coming years.
