Kara asks for fans’ trust

테스트

K-pop girl group Kara asked their fans to please “trust” them, at their fan club event held in Blue Square, Yongsan District on Saturday night.

After losing two of their members, Nicole Jung and Kang Ji-young, the remaining three girls hosted their third “Kamilia Day,” or fan club day, which was their first official press conference in five months.

“We want you to trust the three of us, no matter what people say about us,” said the group’s leader Park Gyu-ri in front of their fans.

Earlier this month, Kara’s fans announced their plan to boycott the group after learning of the agency DSP Media’s project to recruit new members through a TV competition.

As Kang Ji-young and Nicole Jung left the group at the beginning of the year, the remaining members Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-ri and Koo Ha-ra have been concentrating on individual activities.

The recruiting audition for Kara’s new member is to be aired through MBC Music channel, featuring seven DSP trainees under the name of “Baby Kara.” On the final episode, DSP noted that Kara’s fans will be able to take part in the selection by mobile phone voting.
