Commander in chief gets look at new technology
President Park Geun-hye tours a drone exhibit at the Korea Defense Technology Exhibition held in the Korea International Exhibition Center (Kintex) in Goyang, Gyeonggi, yesterday, while Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin explains the displays. In a congratulatory speech during the opening ceremony, Park compared the National Defense Ministry to its U.S. counterpart, saying, “New values will be created if the ministry’s fine technology gets applied to the public sector like the Internet was first used in a project led by the United States Department of Defense.” The exhibition runs through Sunday.
