JYP signs the Lee sisters

The Lee sisters - Chae-yeon and Chae-ryung - who were both contestants on the SBS audition program “K-Pop Star 3,” have joined JYP, an entertainment company headed by singer Park Jin-young.

“Both of them signed a contract with JYP as trainees in May, and they are planning on making a debut together,” said the agency.

During the show, which lasted from last November to April, Park wasn’t hesitant to compliment the girls.

When the sisters put on a dance performance, which is the girls’ speciality, Park said, “The DNA in this family is extraordinary. … I want to take in the whole family. I think they are the most competent and talented sisters since the Pearl Sisters.”

Although the Lees didn’t make it to the live shows, which are considered the most competitive and vital part of the show, Park had set his eye on them.

Season winner Bernard Park has also joined JYP.
