Fly to the Sky on top of charts again

“We never thought we would top the music charts once again,” said veteran R&B duo Fly to the Sky at their 15th-anniversary concert held in Blue Square, central Seoul, on Friday. “Thank you everyone for waiting for us!”

After five years of pursuing solo careers, Hwan-hee and Brian finally got back together last month to release their ninth studio album “Continuum.”

The duo left SM in 2004 and continued to sing together for several years. But since their 2009 album “Decennium,” the two have pursued individual careers.

In their 120-minute concert on Friday, the duo performed about 26 songs, stretching back to their self-titled debut album (1999) to the latest single “You You You,” which topped the KBS weekly music chart on Friday.

“Finished Day 1 of our concert & man, the crowd was amazing!” noted Brian Joo on Twitter.

Tickets for their three-day concert sold out within 10 minutes when they first went on sale last month.
