With rumors suggesting that Korean ballad trio SG Wannabe is coming back to the local music scene - two years after its members began pursuing individual careers - lead vocalist Kim Jin-ho came out to say that the three are still working out the details for the group’s reunification, according to local reports yesterday.
“It is true that there were discussions about the group’s reunification,” said Kim to local media. “However, nothing is confirmed yet and there are more things to be decided with other members Kim Yong-joon and Lee Suk-hoon.”
It is said that since last year there have been several attempts from a number of agencies to bring the three members together. The trio have walked on solo paths since 2011. However, due to artistic differences, it has been hard for the group to join forces and release a new album.
“The three members maintain a good relationship. No details have been decided on, but if SG Wannabe is to come out as a group once again, we want to do our music with certain responsibility,” added Kim.
