Actor’s manager arrested for theft
Actor Jung Joon-ho’s former road manager was arrested for habitual theft, according to Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Gangnam Office yesterday.The 34-year-old surnamed Hwang transferred money out of Jung’s bank account from August 2012 to December last year. He took about 80 million won ($77,700) on 29 different occasions.
Hwang took Jung’s bank card when Jung left his wallet during a filming, and then made transfers and put the card back to its original place.
Jung fired him in the end of last year after he learned.
“[Hwang] committed such a crime after he got to know [Jung’s] password while running errands,” the police said.
