Daesung finishes Japanese solo tour

Daesung, a member of boy group Big Bang, completed his solo tour on Sunday in Japan, which lasted about two months.

The singer’s agency, YG Entertainment, said yesterday that the tour included 15 performances in eight different cities and attracted 170,000 fans. The tour, “D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan D’s Love,” started in Yokohama in June and the last performance was given in Osaka on Sunday. The two-month trip came after he held his first solo tour in 20 different Japanese cities in 2013.

“Because I discovered love from fans through the tour last year, I wanted to bring them my love through this year’s tour,” the singer said in the final concert.

“I wanted to hold a concert where everyone in the audience can sing, dance and have fun rather than just an event in which I perform alone.”

He sang 25 songs for close to four hours for fans at the venue.

Daesung also made the surprise announcement that he is thinking of coming up with another plan as a solo singer in the fall season.
