Crayon Pop readies 1st album
Crayon Pop will release its first full-length album next month.The girl group has been getting the album ready since July after it performed as the opener at U.S. pop star Lady Gaga’s concert tour “artRave: The Artpop Ball” in June.
The group’s first album is coming out more than two years after it made its debut in 2012. Crayon Pop rose to fame last year with its song “Bar Bar Bar,” which features unique dance moves.
The members’ on-stage costumes, which features helmets seen in their viral music video, caught the attention of global fans.
“The members are currently focusing on recording and practicing their dance moves,” said the group’s agency, Chrome Entertainment. “Because the album will be the group’s first, we are putting much effort ... to bring out Crayon Pop’s own color.”
