Feeling railroaded
Residents from the Jeolla region stage a rally Monday in front of the Central Government Complex in Seoul to urge the government to make KTX bullet trains travel directly to the Jeolla region without stopping at Western Daejeon Station. They argue that KTX bullet trains on the Honam line (between Seoul and Mokpo) will waste time if they stop at Western Daejeon Station. But Daejeon residents demand that the new KTX line should have a stop at Western Daejeon Station.
