JYP Entertainment's "Nizi Project" is coming to YouTube

JYP Entertainment will unveil the second part of its global audition project titled “Nizi Project” on YouTube, the agency said on Wednesday.

“Nizi Project 2” has been airing in Japan on the video streaming platform Hulu every Friday at 10 p.m. since April 24. The program gives a behind-the-scenes look at how JYP Entertainment been searching for and nurturing musical talent in Japan since last year in collaboration with Sony Music.

The auditions for “Nizi Project” took place in eight Japanese cities, Hawaii and Los Angeles, and 13 girls were chosen to be trained at JYP Entertainment’s headquarters in Seoul.

The first part of the program, titled “Nizi Project 1,” which featured the auditions and the beginning of the training process, aired from January to March.

The second part continues to follow the girls as they train in preparation for their final evaluation and the announcement of who will make it to the final group.

Each episode will air every Friday evening at 7 p.m. on YouTube beginning this week.

A final group will debut in Japan at the end of the show.
