Blackpink to appear on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Oct. 20
K-pop girl group Blackpink will appear on ABC’s "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Oct. 20, performing its single “Lovesick Girls” and holding a virtual interview with host Jimmy Kimmel.
It will make Blackpink the first K-pop girl group to appear on the popular talk show. Other K-pop acts that have appeared on the show were all boy bands such as BTS, Super M and NCT 127.
After dropping its first full-length album titled “The Album,” Blackpink has been achieving various feats including becoming the first K-pop girl group to top the Billboard Artist 100 chart.
Blackpink now has a total of seven songs which have charted on the Billboard 100, the highest number for any K-pop girl group ever.
