Blackpink has become the first K-pop girl group to top the Billboard Artist 100 chart after its latest update on Tuesday.

The Artist 100 chart tallies the total number of digital song plays, downloads, song and album sales, radio airplay and social media interaction of artists.

Blackpink also currently has two tracks from the its newly released album on the Hot 100 singles chart — another first for any K-pop girl group.

"Lovesick Girls" and "Ice Cream," both included on the band's first full-length album titled "The Album," sit on No. 59 and No. 64 on the chart, respectively.

"Blackpink now has seven songs they have charted on Billboard 100, which is the highest number for any K-pop girl group," the band's agency YG Entertainment said.

"The performance is meaningful in that it was achieved solely by the band's music and music video without other promotions."

Blackpink had its first Billboard ranking in 2018 with "Ddu-du Ddu-du," landing on No. 55 of the Hot 100 singles chart.

The group has had four Billboard hits just this year, starting with its collaboration with Lady Gaga "Sour Candy" which ranked at No. 33 and "How You Like That" which also peaked at No. 33.
