Grand Josun Busan  
Opening: Shinsegae Chosun Hotel opened Grand Josun Busan in Haeundae, Busan and has begun operations. Launched under the slogan, “Journey to Delightful Moments,” Grand Josun is a five-star hotel brand newly introduced by Shinsegae Chosun Hotel, keeping its traditions alive, all the while offering a world-class hotel experience through innovation.
 
Grand Josun Busan located in the center of Haeundae District reinterprets the Chosun Hotel’s heritage in a more sensual way, consisting of 330 rooms, both indoor and outdoor pools with great ocean views and sauna, fitness center and wellness facilities. Food and beverage facilities bring you the joy of dining and a variety of entertainment sources will make your stay more exciting.
 
The interior of the hotel was designed by Humbert & Poyet, two rising global designers in the hospitality industry. The designers representing the millennial generation, active both in France and Monaco built the space based on a modern yet classic theme. Thus, the complete building of the hotel had turned out to be a combination of modern elegance and design, creating an eco-friendy space.
 
Art Nouveau designs incorporate the beauty of curve, and simple but bold patterned designs of Art Deco vividly seen inside the building give a sense of increased spatiality with Pablo Picasso’s lithographs and Michael Shang’s mono prints displayed throughout the hotel.
 
Josun Junior and Lending Library targeting a wide variety of guests are also ready to roll. Josun Junior, a specialized brand for kids staying at Grand Josun, will provide special, unforgettable memories for kids. Amenities and activity programs for kids offer vibrant experiences and more freedom for parents from check-in to check-out. It is certainly a fresh source of joy for families with children. There is a Josun Junior Adventure Map designed to help kids explore every bit of the hotel themselves, a welcome gift for kids to enjoy their hotel stay and activity programs that are free of charge to make sure they leave with great memories. For families with kids, the eighth floor is a designated floor and encompasses three nature-themed bedrooms — sky, forest and sea. A total of 330 rooms ranging from Kids Superior to Kids Suite are available, and 178 rooms, more than half of the total, are Family Twin Rooms that are most appropriate for families with kids.
 
The Lending Library, equipped with a variety of necessities including baby products, basic travel kits and health and workout equipment will help ease the burden of travel. Tiny Love Mobile for kids to sleep well and Enfix’s Hybrid Booster for comfortable mealtimes, Rayqueen’s UV sterilizers, Mamaroos’ high chairs, Bugaboo’s strollers, Stokke’s high chairs and baby tubs are available free of charge. Inside a pantry space, there is a laundry machine, dryer and microwave readily available for guests to use freely during the stay.
 
As for bedding, Josun Cloud Collections guarantee a perfect sleep environment. Every room is equipped with The One line from Simmons Beautyrest Collection and Italian luxury bedding, Frette to provide the most comfortable beds. In the Royal Suite and Grand Suite is the Black Classe of Beautyrest Collection that is of the highest quality. Basic amenities include items from Compagnie de Provence and Jo Malone offering great scents suitable for “hocance (a combination of hotel and vacance, the French word for vacation)." For kids, France Le Petit Prince inspired amenities will be given out. S. Pellegrino, all-natural sparkling water, Vivente Coffee of Chosun Hotel and TWG, a premium tea will be stored in every room.
 
To make every journey more memorable with special dining experiences, Grand Josun Busan is operating Aria buffet restaurant, Palais de Chine, a modern Chinese restaurant, Lounge & Bar and Josun Deli. 
 
At Aria restaurant, signature menus including lamb chops, snow crab and Indian curry, cooked with recipes acquired directly from Westin Chosun Seoul combined with Busan’s famous seafood menus, will awe people dining at the restaurant. 
 
Palais de Chine is a Chinese restaurant combining the modern cuisine of L’Escape’s Palais de Chine with Cantonese cuisine by Hong Yuan at the Westin Chosun Seoul. Casual Chinese cuisine influenced by existing menus such as peking duck, dim sum, Cantonese cuisine and trendy Hong Kong-style cuisine will be introduced at this restaurant. It includes seven private dining rooms for a group of four, six and ten people to enjoy their private time.
 
Lounge & Bar, overlooking Haeundae Beach, is designed with elegant, sophisticated architecture. European brunch, afternoon tea set, Vivente Classico-based Chosun signature coffee beans, tea from a premium brand Fortnum & Mason are all available during the daytime and seafood menus, tropical cocktails, tea ades are available at night time.
 
Josun Deli, offering sweet gifts and pastries makes delicious treats fresh every morning. Pound cake, Florentines or cookies wrapped inside the Josun Deli’s signature package all make great gifts.
 
On the fifth floor of the hotel, there are three different banquet rooms each suitable for different purposes. A banquet room equipped with an LED screen is suitable for VIP greeting events, international conferences, weddings and much more.
 
Also, diverse entertainment facilities are built inside the hotel. Kakao Friends Adventure Park, Ryan Sunday Land, the very first in Busan, Orfeo, a high-end audio theater, Still Books, a book curation space, Gana Art Busan, an art gallery, Promom Kinder, a kids' English membership club, Ocelas Spa and L’Edition Alliance, an art edition shop, all opened inside the hotel. More well-known amenities include Starbucks and Emart24.

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX  
Oct. 23-31: With Halloween just around the corner, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX in Samseong-dong will offer horror-themed Halloween desserts for a limited time only, as well as hold a wine market where wines for Halloween parties will be available. 
 
The Grand Deli of Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas presents horror-themed Halloween desserts prepared by pâtissier Eric Kalaboke from New York from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31. Five types of desserts, “Halloween Chocolate Cake (50,000 won)” decorated as a skull, “Pumpkin Tart (58,000 won)” topped with pumpkin cream cheese and roasted pumpkin slices, “Mummy Cake Slice (9,000 won)” with a sugary mummy decoration, pumpkin-shaped “Pumpkin Mousse Cake Slice (9,000 won)” and “Ghost Hot Chocolate (7,000)” topped with ghost-shaped meringue are on the menu. 
 
The Lobby Lounge of the InterContinental Seoul COEX is offering “Blood Cheese Mousse Cake (45,000 won)" during this event period. Made with mascarpone mousse containing a refreshing cherry filling and topped with a ghost-shaped decoration, it helps elevate the Halloween mood.
 
From Oct. 28 to Oct. 30, 200 types of wines and beers including wines recommended by sommeliers for Halloween parties are available at the Halloween Wine Market. The market will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the three-day period at an area separately prepared for the market on the ground floor of Parnas Tower. 
 
Proper infection prevention measures, including single entrance operation and one-meter distancing, will be put in place.

Park Hyatt Busan  
From Nov. 1 to Dec. 31: Lumi Spa at the Park Hyatt Busan presents the “Gold Flash Package,” which helps smoothen and moisturize dry skin that has lost elasticity due to the dry and cold weather and solve winter skin problems. Enjoy the hotel's private services and a therapeutic experience for the body and mind. The “Gold Flash Package” consists of 50 minutes of body treatment and 40 minutes of facial treatment, and lasts for a total of 90 minutes. Body treatment offers a choice of Swedish-style aromatherapy “Organic Aromatics,” or deep tissue massage, while “Rebalance” programs that help restore and energize the body's balance promote blood circulation. In particular, the gold shimmer oil of Hungary's luxury spa brand, “Omorovicza,” which is used for massages, contains Vitamin E which promotes collagen production as well as helps to foster healthy, glowing skin with moisture and nutrition.
 
The following facial treatment starts with a cleanse that effectively removes makeup residue with a Thermal Balm Cleanser containing natural moisturizing ingredients, and tones the skin with Queen of Hungary Mist, which is excellent for skin purification and toning. A refining facial polisher removes dead skin cells and impurities to clean pores, and then uses a Miracle Oil that quickly permeates the skin by containing Bakuchiol, a natural ingredient, to protect the skin from external stress and effectively reducing deep wrinkles to give the skin vitality. In addition, the Midnight Radiance Mask, which instantly supplies moisture and luster to the skin, enhances skin elasticity, making the skin look moisturized and healthy.
