[ANDAZ SEOUL GANGNAM]

Andaz Seoul Gangnam
Ongoing: Jogakbo restaurant, located on the 2nd floor of the Andaz Seoul Gangnam, will unveil new menu offerings for its three distinctly unique interactive dining zones.
Jogakbo, inspired by the Apgujeong gourmet food alley, offers Bites & Wine, Seafood Grill and Meat & Co. Each interactive kitchen offers its very own product-driven menu prepared by specialized chefs with distinctive cooking techniques and styles. The interactive kitchens invite diners to view the market produce and specialty ingredients of the day that each zone features.
At the re-launched Jogakbo, each zone offers a creative way to enjoy intimate occasions or casual social gatherings by catering to diners seeking value-oriented, quality-conscious experiences in an engaging and energetic atmosphere. To celebrate its re-launch, Jogakbo invites all diners to enjoy 30 percent off the à la carte menu at Seafood Grill and Meat & Co. throughout the month of March. This offer is available through Andaz Seoul Gangnam’s KakaoTalk channel.
Bites & Wine is an all-day dining and social zone where guests can enjoy a relaxed and comfortable ambience with a variety of tapas-style bites, a selection of wines from around the world, including natural and organic wines, creative contemporary cocktails, and must-have classics − some with a distinctly Korean twist – with non-stop hours from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Featured must-try tapas are teppan-grilled cuttlefish with perilla pesto, seafood croquettes with marinara, Taiwanese XXL chicken cutlet, Sichuan-style crispy fried chicken wings and the teppan-seared beef Andaz Taco, at prices ranging from 15,000 ($13.20) won to 30,000 won. Andaz Seoul Gangnam’s dedicated bar specialists are on hand to craft guests’ favorite cocktails, recommend select Champagnes and pair wines or craft beers with your tapas of choice. Diners can also enjoy year-round promotions such as Bubbles N Bites, a true value-for-money happy hour serving free-flow beverages and tapas-style canapés. On weekends, the zone’s chill vibe turns energetic with resident and featured DJs performing live from dark until late.
Seafood Grill features “robatayaki” fireside-cooking cuisine with pan-Asian flavors. Live seafood from the markets and a selection of the day’s fresh catch are grilled on skewers over charcoal. The restaurant's strong relationships with local fishermen and qualification as ASC-certified seafood purveyors enable it to offer a rotating seasonal selection prepared to perfection.
Counter seats offer diners the opportunity to interact with the chef and review the variety of seafood on offer while watching as their selection is prepared over the fire. At lunch time, light meals, skewers and grilled dishes are available from 15,000 won, and Jogakbo’s signature stone rice bowls are available both à la carte and as tray sets from 45,000 won.
Meat & Co. is Jogakbo’s featured oven kitchen experience. Premium cuts of aged beef from Korea, the United States and Australia, featuring our Andaz signature 28-day dry-aged beef, are skillfully prepared in the oven along with a variety of roasted and baked specialties. Professional chefs take special care in preparing hearty dishes, such as braised veal ossobuco, oven-baked lobster cheese rigatoni, smoked anchovy linguine and beef ragu rigatoni as well as other pasta dishes.
For meat lovers, the chefs recommend the oven-roasted beef and assorted meat platter for sharing. Jogakbo’s signature bread, baked fresh daily, is set on every table. Meat & Co. offers a three-course lunch set comprising an appetizer, main and dessert for KRW 52,000 to deliver a quality dining experience for guests at a reasonable price, while dinner provides various dining options from à la carte, to a four-course dinner set, to a family set for four people. Dinner à la carte items are priced in the 10,000 won range, while mains start from 30,000 won. The four-course dinner is 120,000 won (per person) and 450,000 won for the family set.
