KBS announces star-studded cast for upcoming series ‘Police Academy’

Actors Cha Tae-hyun, Jinyoung and Jung Soo-jung will star in the upcoming KBS series “Police Academy” (translated) according to KBS2 on Tuesday.
The series, which will start airing in July, is set in the Korean National Police University.
“Police Academy” will tell the story of a hot-tempered professor and a cool-headed hacker-turned-cadet cooperating on an investigation.
Cha will play the professor with a 20-year career in the police force.
Jinyoung, who is also a former member of the boy band B1A4, will play the hacker-turned-police academy freshman.
Jung Soo-jung, better known as Krystal of girl group f(x), will play an outspoken police cadet.
