Strike
The Renault Samsung Motors automotive plant in Busan stands quiet on Tuesday. The company shut off the plant after the labor union went on strike, demanding the company increase wages as well as withdraw its plan to shut down several sales branches. While the shutdown of the plant was the first since January 2020, this was the second time this year that the labor union has gone on an 8 hour strike. [YONHAP]
