Standard Chartered Bank Korea has expanded its digital channels to offer more diverse wealth management services, targeting the digitally fluent younger generation.

Wealth Care, Standard Chartered’s wealth management brand, recently launched a digital channel through the Standard Chartered mobile application. Dubbed “Wealth Care Lounge”, the new channel provides users with the latest investment trends and wealth management information.

Wealth Care Lounge contains useful information covering various issues such as environmental, social and governance investment techniques, financial planning and webinar schedules. The platform aims to offer a practical and healthy guideline for clients feeling lost in the flood of unidentified and inaccurate investment information.

Moreover, Standard Chartered further diversified its communication platform with its new Kakao Talk Channel and Naver Post webpage. The Kakao Talk Channel will provide a newsletter and event notifications for its subscribers. Information on recent investment trends, export columns and the latest Standard Chartered news will be posted on the Naver Post webpage.

To mark the launch of the new digital channels, Standard Chartered will offer various benefits and gifts for its customers until the end of May.

“Standard Chartered launched new digital platforms to make high-quality information and recent market trends more accessible for regular customers,” said Colin Chiang, a senior managing director at Standard Chartered Bank Korea. “For the younger generation who struggled through the recent investment craze, our Wealth Care digital channels will provide guidelines for healthier and safer investment.”
