A 33-trillion-won supplementary budget has been agreed upon by the government and Democratic Party, an amount in line with expectations.
It will be the second supplementary budget this year and the sixth since the Covid-19 outbreak started.
The supplementary budget will be focused on providing support to all households except the 20 percent with the highest incomes and to businesses that have been most affected by social distancing rules in place for the pandemic.
Details will be announced after a cabinet meeting later this week.
