SM Entertainment revealed the remastered version for the music video of “Into the New World” (2007) by girl group Girls’ Generation on Friday.

The new high-definition music video was uploaded to SMTOWN, the agency’s official YouTube channel.

“Into the New World” is Girls’ Generation’s debut song.

This re-upload is part of SM Entertainment’s “MV Remastering Project,” a joint project with YouTube in which it digitally remasters the video and audio quality of SM artists’ old music videos. Through this project, SM aims to shine a light on 1990s and 2000s K-pop once again, as well as promote the industry's history.

Other releases through the project include boy band H.O.T’s “Hope,” which dropped on Dec. 23. “Hope” is the legendary boy band’s hit song from 1998.

Girls’ Generation, known as one of the top girl groups of the 2010s, has hits including “Gee” (2009), “The Boys” (2011), “I Got a Boy” (2013) and “Lion Heart” (2015). Since 2018, the sub-unit of the group, Girls’ Generation-Oh!GG, has been more active. The sub-unit consists of five members Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri and Yoona, who still remain with SM Entertainment.
