SM Entertainment revealed the remastered music video of boy band SHINee’s “Replay” (2008) on Wednesday.
The video is part of the K-pop powerhouse’s MV Remastering Project, which launched in November 2021. The project digitally remasters the video and audio quality of SM artists’ old music videos from the 1990s and 2000s.
“Replay” was SHINee’s debut song, told from the perspective of a younger man confessing his feelings for an older woman. It proved to be an instant hit and popularized boy bands’ youthful image, appealing to young and older female fans alike.
SHINee is known for other hits including “Ring Ding Dong” (2009), “Lucifer” (2010) and “Sherlock (Clue + Note)” (2012). The band currently consists of four members: Onew, Key, Minho and Taemin.
