Singer Jamie, who is also widely known as Park Ji-min, will release an English digital single “Pity Party” on Feb. 3.

The singer made the announcement Wednesday by posting a picture of herself with the name and the date of the upcoming release.

“You are invited to my Pity Party,” she wrote. According to her label Warner Music Korea, the upcoming single will also reveal her strong identity, as she has previously done with other release.

The track comes five months after her latest release, “No Numbers.” The singer also released an English version of "No Numbers," which featured JMIN, last September.

Jamie debuted in 2012 as a member of R&B duo 15& under JYP Entertainment after winning the first season of SBS audition program “K-pop Star” in 2011. She was in charge of hitting the high notes with her powerful voice. She then made a solo debut in 2015 with her song “Hopeless Love.” She’s been solidifying herself as a solo artist ever since, releasing hits like “jimin x jamie,” “Stay Beautiful,” and “Apollo 11.”

The singer signed a contract with Warner Music Korea in April 2020, changing her stage name from Park Ji-min to Jamie to symbolize her new start. Jamie was also the English name she used for herself during her childhood years when she lived abroad.
