Netflix Korea’s “Squid Game,” which received four nominations for this year’s Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, will be screened at U.S. theaters to promote the series ahead of the award ceremony.

The series saw worldwide success and became Netflix’s most-viewed content.

According to Variety on Thursday, “Squid Game” will be screened in theaters in New York and Los Angeles.

“The first season of ‘Squid Game’ will be screened over two successive Saturday afternoons, on Feb. 12 and Feb. 19 at the Netflix-operated Paris Theater in New York, and at the Netflix-operated Bay Theater in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood,” Variety reported.

Guild members will receive free admission but screenings are open to the general public who are willing to pay fee.

“Squid Game” is the first non-English-language drama series to be nominated for a prize in the 28-year history of the SAG awards.

The series was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Series, Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor for Lee Jung-jae, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor for Jung Ho-yeon and Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble.

The 28th SAG awards ceremony will be held on Feb. 27 at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.
