Yue Hua Entertainment’s upcoming boy band Tempest postponed its debut after all the members tested positive for Covid-19, according to the agency on Monday.
“After a staff member working for Tempest tested positive for Covid-19 on Feb. 13, all members went through rapid antigen tests and PCR tests,” the agency wrote in a statement. “All seven members [of Tempest] tested positive on Feb. 14.”
Tempest is comprised of six Korean members Hwarang, Eunchan, Lew, Hyungseop, Taerae, Hyuk, and one Vietnamese member, Hanbin. The boy band was originally scheduled to debut with its first EP “It's ME, It's WE” on Feb. 21, but the release has been postponed to March 2.
Yue Hua Entertainment added that all members have been fully vaccinated and apologized for the delay. The agency is behind popular girl groups WJSN and Everglow.
