Rookie boy band JWiiver has made its debut with its first EP “Jtrap” on Thursday, its agency Starweave Entertainment said.
 
JWiiver is a seven-member multinational band consisting of Roshin, GabinK, Ryujei, Raots, Shita, Rihan and JuKang. Shita is from Macau, Raots is from China and the rest of the members are Korean.
 
The majority of the members have already shown themselves on screen through audition programs. Shita participated in “Produce X 101” (2019), Ryujei in “Boys24” (2016), Roshin on “To Be World Class” (2019) and GabinK on hip-hop audition program “Show Me The Money 777” (2018).
 
The band’s title track “Jtrap” is in the urban hip-hop genre. Leader Rihan collaborated with famous Japanese choreographer Marimo Kanno.
 
The track’s music video was released at 12 p.m. on YouTube. The band is set to perform for the first time on stage on Mnet’s music show “Mnet Countdown” at 6 p.m. today.
