“Stay Alive,” a song for the original soundtrack from BTS-inspired web novel and webtoon “7Fates: Chakho,” has entered various Billboard charts including the Billboard Hot 100.

Suga produced the song and Jungkook sang it.

Inspired by the chakho-gapsa, or tiger hunters, of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), "7Fates: Chakho" is an urban fantasy web novel set in the near future featuring protagonists inspired by BTS members. Naver Webtoon collaborated with HYBE to publish the narrative from Jan. 15.

According to Billboard on Wednesday, the song ranked No. 6 in Digital Song Sales, No. 8 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, No. 13 on the Billboard Global 200, No. 1 in World Digital Song Sales, and No. 74 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100.

“Stay Alive” ranked No. 95 on Billboard Hot 100 according to Billboard’s official Twitter a day earlier. It’s the fifth solo song from a BTS member to rank on the chart after J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” (2019), Suga’s “Daechwita” (2020) and “Girl of My Dreams” (2021) and V’s “Christmas Tree” (2021).

On the Billboard Global 200 chart, BTS’s other songs “My Universe” (2021) ranked No. 32, “Butter” (2021) at No. 49, “Dynamite” (2019) at No. 62 and “Permission To Dance” at No. 139.

On the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, “My Universe” ranked No. 21, “Butter” at No. 27, “Dynamite” at No. 36 and “Permission to Dance” at No. 85.

BTS’s other albums “Map of the Soul : 7” (2020) and “Map of the Soul : Persona” (2019) each ranked No. 57 and No. 78 at Billboard’s Top Album Sales. Another album “Be” (2020) ranked No. 72 in Top Current Album Sales.
