JYP Entertainment's rookie girl group Nmixx recorded the highest debut album sales by a girl group in the history of K-pop, according to its agency Tuesday.  
 
Selling 227,399 copies of its debut album "Ad Mare" since its drop one week ago, the group is garnering explosive attention. 
 
The music video for the EP's title track "O.O" marked over 20 million views on the first day of its release. Currently, it has some 41 million views. 
 
The EP also came in No. 1 on local music charts Hanteo and Gaon after its official drop on Feb. 22. 
 
Overseas, the EP topped iTunes top albums charts in regions like Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico and entered the top 10 in Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada among others.   
 
On QQ music, China's largest music platform, the EP's two songs "占 (TANK)” and “O.O.” placed third and first, respectively. 
 
Following its successful debut, Nmixx will hold a showcase at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Blue Square in Yongsan District, central Seoul. The concert will be available offline and also streamed online.  
 
Nmixx is composed of seven members — Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin. Apart from Lily who is Korean-Australian, all members are Korean.
