Jihyo of girl group Twice is set to release a song for the soundtrack of tvN’s television drama series “Twenty Five Twenty One” on Sunday, Studio MaumC said Friday.

Studio MaumC is the music production company for the show.

The song Jihyo will sing is called “Stardust love song.” It is her first solo song since her debut in 2015.

Set in 1998, a year after the 1997 IMF bailout took a toll on Korea’s economy, “Twenty Five Twenty One” tells the story of an ambitious fencer who becomes an Olympic gold medalist. It stars actors Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk. It is also available to view on Netflix.

Twice debuted with the EP “The Story Begins” (2015) with the lead song “Like Ooh-Ahh.” The group became widely popular with the song “Cheer Up” (2016) and has since released hits like “TT” (2016), “Feel Special” (2019) and “Alcohol-Free” (2021). The group has nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
