BTS's Jimin to feature on soundtrack for new tvN series 'Our Blues'

BTS member Jimin is set to sing a song for the original soundtrack (OST) of upcoming tvN drama series "Our Blues."

The series' OST production company NyamNyam Entertainment on Tuesday said that it hopes Jimin's addition to the drama will "reinvigorate the drama with a top-tier OST that blends well with the flow of the plot."

“Our Blues” is set on Jeju Island and will tell stories about various people living there.

The drama has garnered public attention with its star-studded 14-member cast including Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-Bin and Uhm Jung-hwa.

The series is written by Noh Hee-kyung, a famous screenwriter in Korea, and directed by Kim Kyu-tae. The two often work together and some of their notable works include SBS drama series "It's Okay, That's Love" (2014) and tvN’s series "Dear My Friends" (2016).

“Our Blues” is scheduled to premiere on April 9. Comprised of 20 episodes, each one will air every Saturday and Sunday on tvN at 9:10 p.m. Episodes will subsequently be made available on video streaming platforms such as Tving and Netflix.
