Boy band Big Bang will make a comeback with a new release on April 5.

On Monday, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster featuring a blank polaroid with a date and statement that reads: “BIGBANG 0AM APR 05 2022.”

Excluding the date, nothing else has been revealed about the new music.

Big Bang last released a digital single titled “Flower Road” in 2018 before going on an extensive hiatus due to the members' mandatory military services.

Big Bang members G-Dragon, Taeyang and T.O.P, also teased the comeback with the same photograph on their Instagram respective accounts on Wednesday. Daesung does not have a personal Instagram account. The upcoming release will be the first without ex-member Seungri, who left the band in 2019 after the Burning Sun scandal, an infamous sex, drugs and police protection scandal surrounding a nightclub of the same name.

T.O.P has also left YG Entertainment after his contract came to an end early this year, but still remains in the group and took part in making the new release.

Big Bang debuted in 2006 with the album “Big Bang Vol. 1 – Since 2007.” The band later saw immense success with songs like “Lies” (2007), “Haru Haru” (2008), “Tonight” (2011), “Fantastic Baby” (2012) and “Bang Bang Bang” (2015).
