Boy band T1419 is dominating the Australian iTunes chart.

Its Japanese debut EP “Our Teen: Blue Side” (2022) and latest single “Edelweiss” ranked No. 6 and No. 8 respectively in the iTunes’ Top 100 K-pop Albums chart and Top 100 K-pop songs chart.

The EP, which was released in March 9, is about “a confused yet pure and transparent youth.” It has seven tracks including the Japanese language title track “Run Up.” Three of the seven tracks are Japanese while the rest are Korean.

Following its release, the EP immediately climbed to No. 25 in Billboard Japan’s Top Albums Sales chart and No. 43 in Hot Albums chart.

Its single “Edelweiss,” released on March 22, expresses gratitude and love for its fans.

The band debuted in January last year with its album “Before Sunrise Part. 1.” The band has seen success since its online debut show, which garnered an audience of 300,000.

T1419 is comprised of five Korean members — Noa, Sian, Kevin, Gunwoo, On — and four Japanese members — Leo, Zero, Kairi and Kio.
