The SSG Landers could well turn out to be the team to beat this season.
The Landers have been busy this offseason. Not only does the club return with newly-revamped facilities that could rival any major league stadium, but also with a slightly revamped lineup with a definite major league edge.
Former major league starter Kim Kwang-hyun returns to Incheon this season after a fairly successful MLB career that was only cut short by the lockout earlier this year.
Kim joins a roster that already includes Choo Shin-soo and now also Ivan Nova, combining for thousands of hours of major league experience between them.
Those veterans, alongside domestic sluggers Choi Jung and Choi Joo-hwan, could make the Landers are dangerous team to face this season.
