Doh Kyung-soo to star in upcoming KBS drama 'Jingeom Seungbu'

Singer and actor Doh Kyung-soo, also known by his stage name D.O. will take the lead role in an upcoming KBS drama set to air later this year.

In "Jingeom Seungbu" or "The Real Fight" (translated), Doh will portray a prosecutor named Jin Jeong who is slightly offbeat but passionately seeks justice for the weak against the greedy and powerful wealthy.

The upcoming drama series will mark Doh's return to the small screen after his mandatory military service ended in January last year.

Doh debuted as a member in the boy band EXO in 2012. The band is best known for the hits “Growl” (2013), “Overdose” (2014), “Love Me Right” (2015) and “Love Shot” (2018). The band’s latest album, “Don’t Fight the Feeling” (2021), topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 85 regions.

Doh is also an experienced actor, starring in the hit SBS drama "It's Okay It's Love" (2014), and movies "My Annoying Brother" (2016) and "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" (2017).
