New reality show “Seoul Check-In” featuring K-pop diva Lee Hyo-ri is a hit. The program centers around Lee and her travels in Seoul. Lee lives on Jeju Island with her husband Lee Sang-soon.
 
According to Tving on Wednesday, the first episode of the show was watched more than 20 million times in just four days.
 
In the first episode, Lee met up with her close friend Rain at a cocktail bar in Itaewon, central Seoul, and spent a night at comedian Park Na-rae’s house.
 
The second episode is set to be released on April 15. In that episode, Lee goes to a ski resort with Eun Ji-won, a member of Sechs Kies, and singers Shinji and Kim Jong-min of Koyote.
 
The pilot of the program, which was released in February, immediately shot to No. 1 on the streaming platform’s list of most popular shows. The total number of paid Tving subscribers tripled over the three days after its premiere.
 
“Seoul Check-In” is hit producer Kim Tae-ho’s first show since leaving MBC in January. He’s best known for producing “Infinite Challenge” (2005-18) and “Hangout With Yoo” (2019-).
 
After a successful career with hit girl group Fin.K.L, Lee debuted as a solo artist in 2003 with the song “10 Minutes” and the album “Stylish….” Her most popular songs include "U-Go-Girl" (2008) and "Bad Girls" (2013). In 2020, Lee was also a member of project group SSAK3 with Rain and Yoo Jae-suk.
