Kwon Yu-ri, Jung Il-woo to reunite for upcoming Seezn-original drama

Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yu-ri and actor Jung Il-woo are set to reunite as leads in the upcoming Seezn-original drama "Good Job" (translated), according to their respective talent agencies on Tuesday.

"Good Job" is a romance-detective drama series that revolves around a chaebol who lives a double life as a detective (played by Jung) and a woman with super vision who tries to hide her power by wearing thick glasses (played by Kwon).

The drama will air in the latter half of this year.

Kwon and Jung previously acted together last year in MBN's historical drama series "Bossam: Steal the Fate."

The show recorded a viewership rating of 9.8 percent as of the last episode, becoming the highest-ranking television series in MBN’s history.

Kwon debuted as a member of the early 2000s hit girl group Girls' Generation in 2007. She made her acting debut back in 2012 in the SBS television drama “Fashion King,” and went on to star in several more drama series such as MBC's "Dae Jang Geum Is Watching" (2018) and MBN's "Bossam: Steal the Fate" (2021) and the film "No Breathing" (2013). She also debuted as a solo singer in 2018 through her EP "The First Scene."

Jung debuted in 2006 in MBC’s legendary sitcom “High Kick!” (2006-07). He has since appeared in television dramas including MBC’s “The Return of Iljimae” (2009), SBS’s “49 Days” (2011) and recently MBN’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate” (2021).
