Tottenham Hotspur and the Korea Tourism Organization announced that Tottenham's pre-season tour to Korea will be in July.

Through the new partnership, Korea Tourism Organization advertisements will be shown during games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. During Tottenham's match against Leicester City on Sunday, banners saying 'Join Spurs in Korea July 2022' flashed across the boards.

As is tour tradition, Tottenham players and ambassadors will be out and about meeting fans, supporting good causes and experiencing Korean culture.

In addition, Tottenham's Global Football Development coaches will deliver a renowned technical program for young local players and coach education workshops, showcasing the authentic training methods developed within the club's academy.

"We are hugely excited to be heading to Korea this summer for our first international tour in three years," said Chief Commercial Officer of Tottenham Hotspur Todd Kline.

"We are well aware of the passionate following we have there and are delighted to be working with the Korean Tourism Organization to drive further interest in our visit, while building even greater affinity between the homeland of Heung-Min Son and our global fanbase."

Tottenham is currently the most watched and best-supported overseas football team in Korea and home to two of the country's most loved players, Son Heung-min and Cho So-hyun, who are also the men's and women's Korean national team captains.

Tottenham has four official supporters' clubs in Korea — Boryeong Spurs, Daegu Spurs, Gangwon-Do Spurs and South Korea Spurs.

"At the center of our 2021 tourism campaign 'This is My Korea' was a successful partnership with Heung-Min Son, Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism, whose participation generated a burst of excitement in anticipation of travel becoming a reality again," said Lee Sang-min, director of the Korea Tourism Organization's London office.

"Now that Korea has reopened to international visitors, we hope that this partnership with Tottenham Hotspur and their long-awaited tour to Korea will create valuable opportunities for fans of the team to explore Sonny's unique and beautiful home country for themselves — and discover their Korea."
