Kang Min-kyung of the pop-ballad duo Davichi tested positive for Covid-19, her agency Wakeone said Friday.
“Kang took a rapid antigen test after showing symptoms early Friday morning and tested positive in the afternoon,” Wakeone said in a statement.
Kang has had two inoculations and does not have severe symptoms, the agency said. However, she has stopped work and she will undergo treatment at home.
Davichi’s new EP “Season Note” will drop according to plan on May 16.
Kang and Lee Hae-ri debuted as Davichi in 2008 and gained popularity with songs like "8282" (2009), "Let the time stop" (2010) and "Unspoken Words" (2019).
