Boy band Tomorrow X Together became the first K-pop act to make the online cover of NME, according to Big Hit Music on Saturday.

The band's photo was featured on the British culture platform's website after NME released an interview with the band on Friday. The article followed Tomorrow X Together's fourth EP "minisode 2: Thursday's Child," which dropped on May 9.

The article described Tomorrow X Together as "curious genre-hoppers," saying "musical exploration is part of what has led them to their status as globally-renowned rising stars."

It also introduced the band as the winners of the Hero Of The Year Awards at the BandLab NME Awards 2022, an annual music awards show in Britain which was founded by NME. The results were revealed in early March. Hero Of The Year is a fan-voted category and Tomorrow X Together took home 40 percent of the votes.

In the NME article, the band members expressed their love and appreciation for their fans, known as MOA, which stands for "moments of alwaysness."

"They cheer for us and whenever we’re down, they lift us up, so we love them very much,” Tomorrow X Together's Hueningkai told NME. Member Taehyun said that the relationship between the band and the MOA members as a "very deep and trusting friendship."

NME is a British music, film and culture website that was founded as a newspaper in 1952. It turned into a magazine in 1996. It stopped the print edition in 2018.

Tomorrow X Together debuted in 2019 with the song “Crown” and has five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai.
